- ASID may modify these conditions, and your use of ASID's site after ASID publishes changes to these conditions means you accept the revised conditions.
- These conditions shall be governed by and in accordance with laws of the District of Columbia. You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating in any manner to ASID's Web site or these conditions shall be filed only in the courts located in the District of Columbia and that you submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of such courts for all purposes hereunder.
- If any of these conditions shall be determined to be unlawful, against public policy or void for any reason, it is agreed such provision shall be deemed severed from the rest of the conditions and shall not be made a part of this Agreement.
- This Agreement represents the entire Agreement between us relating to the subject matter of the foregoing and cannot be modified except as provided for hereinabove or in a writing signed by an authorized representative of ASID.

ASID respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask those posting content on this site to do the same. ASID may, in appropriate circumstances, bar from this Web site any user who infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

Privacy Policy
The American Society of Interior Designers, Inc. ("ASID") respects the privacy of its website users. ASID does not collect personal information through its website from its website users other than the information its website users voluntarily provide ASID through use of its website. Such information consists of the website user's name, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address and user's website address (URL).
This information may be used by ASID in any one or more of the following ways:
- To send ASID-related materials by mail, e-mail or otherwise to its website users;
- To distribute time-sensitive information such as Legislative Alerts or NewsFlash via e-mail and/or fax;

Information collected from individuals using the ASID Worldwide Referral Service is used only for purposes of matching them with qualified designers and for sending referral information to them. ASID may use "cookies" which are placed on users' computers from ASID's website, for the purpose of facilitating the website user's log in process. ASID does not collect personal information through "cookies." ASID aggregates website user information and reports on aggregated usage, not on individual users. If you do not wish the login "cookie" to be placed on your computer, you can set your browser to refuse "cookies." However, if you do so, you will have to login each time you visit the site.
You will also be given the opportunity to let ASID know if you do not wish to receive the information described above by clicking on a designated "opt out" button on ASID's website.
ASID website users will, if the website user clicks on links and/or ad banners, be taken to third-party websites. You will, in such regard, be subject to the third-party's privacy policies, and ASID cannot be responsible for such third-parties' actions. This Privacy Policy explains the practices of the American Society of Interior Designers, Inc. (“ASID”) regarding the collection, use, sharing, and protection of personal information in connection with your use of the Impexium Association Management System (“System”).
- Information Collected

ASID does not release any information about the collection of this address to any third parties.

Occasionally, ASID conducts surveys to assist us in our strategic planning and development of our benefits and services. We may appoint third parties to do this on our behalf. Survey responses will only be shared with third parties, including the membership at large, in aggregate.

If you contact us with a comment or query, we may keep a record of any phone number or email address used to get in touch with us as well as the correspondence and the period of time it took for us to deal with a query or any request you had.

- Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account within the American Society of Interior Designers, Inc. (“ASID”) Impexium Association Management System (“System”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) and ASID’s Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not create an account or use the System. . If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact ASID by emailing membership@asid.org.
Our Commitment
ASID respects your concern about privacy. This Privacy Policy will tell you how we use and protect your personal information, and will describe the choices you have concerning our use of such information. Please read this Policy carefully. We may need to change this Policy from time to time in order to address new issues and reflect changes. We will publicize changes so you know what information we gather, how we might use that information, and whether we will disclose that information to anyone. Please refer to this Policy regularly.
- Use of the System
The System is intended for members, partners, and other stakeholders of ASID for professional and association-related purposes. Unauthorized access or misuse of the System is strictly prohibited.
- User Responsibilities
By using the System, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during account registration and update it as necessary.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and promptly notify ASID of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Use the System only for lawful purposes in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Intellectual Property
All content and materials within the System, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of ASID or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from such content without prior written consent from ASID.
- Data Usage and Ownership
ASID respects the privacy and rights of its users. Any data you submit to the System remains your property. By submitting data, you grant ASID a limited license to use, store, and process your information to provide services, improve functionality, and support association activities. ASID will not sell or share your data with unauthorized third parties.
- Termination of Access
ASID reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the System at its sole discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of this Agreement or other legitimate reasons.
- Limitation of Liability
ASID is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the System. This includes but is not limited to data loss, system errors, or unauthorized access.
- Dues and Pricing
By enrolling in auto-renewal/autopay, you acknowledge that membership dues & pricing may be adjusted if your membership category changes. Any adjustments to dues will be communicated to you through official Association channels, including email, website updates, and association publications. Your continued participation in the auto-renewal/auto-pay program indicates your acceptance of these terms, as outlined in the Association's terms and conditions.
- STORAGE OF CREDIT CARD AND DEBIT CARD INFORMATION, INCLUDING THIRD-PARTY VALIDATION
General
By clicking Accept, you confirm you have read and agree to be bound by the Billhighway/Impexium Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Please do not proceed if you do not agree.
Credit Card Storage
You confirm you are authorizing Impexium to store a credit or debit card on behalf of the cardholder for ease of use when returning to make payments to your/their Impexium account as a payment method.
You represent and warrant that you are legally authorized to use the credit/debit account that you entered on the Impexium site and authorize Impexium to store that information.
This authorization will remain in effect until cancelled.
Third Party Validation
Impexium may use a trusted third-party service to validate and authenticate account information for the purpose of legal compliance and discloses account information for business purposes in connection with products and services we provide.
Credit Card Consent – Recurring Payments
For recurring transactions, the information will be saved to file on the cardholder’s account. You authorize Impexium to charge the credit card entered for agreed-upon purchases and will not dispute these scheduled transactions.
Please keep the payment method information current (e.g., credit card number and expiration date). If we are notified of card information changes by available third-party sources, we may update it without any notice to you or action on your part. If the cardholder does not want us to update their card information, the cardholder may contact their issuer to request this or remove their payment method from their Impexium account.
By completing this process, you verify you are making an electronic signature in accordance with the Uniform Electronic Signature Act. Further, you acknowledge your understanding that you are authorizing an electronic debit of funds from your (or an authorized) checking account or credit card (payer) to Impexium, a payment provider representing your group (payee). You acknowledge that this transaction may cause you to incur additional service charges from your bank or credit card provider. You further acknowledge sole responsibility for all fees assessed by your organization, and said fees are due on the date set forth by your organization, regardless of receipt of the billing email. Billhighway/Impexium in no way sets and/or determines your organizations fee due date, and therefore has no way of changing scheduled fee due dates. You also hereby authorize and accept full responsibility for any negligent claims, disputes, refunds, or fraudulent use that may arise from your usage of this service.
You may cancel this authorization at any time by clicking on the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. The cardholder can also request a refund by contacting the chapter/local administrator.
- Amendments
ASID reserves the right to update or modify this Agreement at any time. Any changes will be communicated through the System or via email. Continued use of the System after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
