About
The Principal of the firm, Joseph Stabilito, was trained at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. He has since worked in various aspects of the interior design world, designing furniture, lighting, and interiors. In his first years, Joseph worked as the assistant to other interior designers. He also fostered a dual career in the arts, as a painter. For several years, he exhibited his paintings in New York and around the world. Joseph's work unites the passions of interior design and painting into one successful methodoligy. He established his own firm in 2004. Since then Joseph has handled many design projects, from small apartments to large homes. His keen understanding of color & texture are evident in rooms of clear cut sophistication that have become the hallmark of his style. Joseph is comfortable designing both contemporary and eclectic rooms. He has a penchant for spare, elegant rooms that thrive on drama.
Services Offered
We offer experienced consultation and a full range of design services for residential projects. We are happy to design a single room, or an entire house. We help clients navigate the design process, editing choices and providing direction. We do everything from furnishings & decorating-to extensive bath & kitchen renovations. We will work from our extensive resources to create a comfortable, beautiful environment that reflects your personality. If you're building a new home, we can work with your architect, designing built-ins and lighting...and free you from the overwhelming design choices that will present themselves along the way. And for those not interested in a full service project, we offer flexible design consultations. In these sessions we advise on color, furniture layout, staging a home for re-sale, innovative solutions for storage-or any other design topic perplexing a client.

Fee Structures
FREE one hour consultations are offered for new clients. The session is used for clients to discuss their goals, and meet the designer. According to the scope of work involved, a one time DESIGN FEE is accessed for the project. (This covers the time needed to prepare a design concept, which is later presented to the client). This will include ideas about color & lighting, furniture layout, and custom finishes. Thereafter, an HOURLY FEE is charged for time spent in the execution of the project (administrative, shopping, meeting with the client, etc). NO MARK-UP is added to purchases-clients make purchases through me at the wholesale cost. Before starting any project, all of the pertinent information, along with many other informative details are outlined in an AGREEMENT, which is then signed by all parties. Work begins in earnest after the contract is signed. We are interested in both large and small projects, from one room apartments to entire houses. We also provide CONSULTATION SERVICES for those needing expert advice on color, furniture placement, or want their design questions answered.
