With more than 30 years professional design experience, Ms. Jurow's background integrates a rich array of talent,qualifications and experience. while teaching college-level interior design classes at Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), San Francisco, she exposes a new generation of designers to traditional elegance as well as cutting edge, contemporary resources. Educated at Stephens College, Columbia, MO., UCLA and New York School of Interior Design, Ms. Jurow maintains a strong committment to educating clients as well as servicing their design requests. In 2000, Darlene studied Feng Shui in Nanjing, China in order to incorporate an authentic aspect of better living through healthy as well as beautiful design. Ms. Jurow has been a leader in the design community through service as president of the American Society of Interior Designers, California North, a member of the Educational Advisory Board of Art Institute, San Francisco, and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Design For Living magazine. Her design work, articles and quotes can be seen in Architectural Digest, Design For Living magazine, Contra Costa Times, San Jose Mercury News and the Wall Street Journal. Currently a member of the ASID National SAC committee, Darlene heads a firm that listens with many ears and responds with personalized solutions.
