Lou Ann Bauer, ASID is a graduate of U. C. Berkeley with a BA in Fine Arts, and a BS in Interior Design from San Jose State University in California. She is the principal of her own firm in San Francisco, Bauer Interior Design. She has been a professional interior designer for twenty-four years and owned her own business for fifteen years. She has juried for competitions and spoken at trade seminars and local design symposia. Lou Ann has combined her art training with the function of interior design to create whimsical and colorful mixes of furnishings and environments. Her interior design business also incorporates kitchen and bath design. Each of these are also an artful and unusual blend of materials and ideas.
