The initial scope of this project was to work with the existing footprint of the main floor, create a new color palette, develop furniture selections and layout. The ultimate goal: a clean, timeless and elegant space that takes advantage of the spectacular view of Elliott Bay and downtown Seattle.

After living in a Tudor home for 35 years, the clients moved to a newly constructed home located in a historical neighborhood. The careful architecture is a tribute to the longstanding homes on this tree-lined street.
The clients and designer started work on the project several years prior to construction. The goal was to customize as much as possible including careful placement of lighting, electrical needs, cabinet design, stone and wood floor selection. They were also interested in easy maintenance for their dwelling.

This much-loved family home was in need of a major freshening up. The goal was to create better flow, adding visibility from room-to-room and to catch additional natural light in each space.
