Sheryl Connelly, ASID Affiliate, recently retired as the Chief Futurist for Ford Motor Company. For nearly two decades, Connelly and her team of designers, strategists and researchers led discussions on long-term thinking, planning and strategy. Her responsibilities included identifying global trends, exploring potential implications and cascading the futuring insights to organizations throughout the company, including design, product development and corporate strategy. Since 2019, Connelly has sat on the Board of Directors for the Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health (formerly known as 2020Moms). In addition to a Juris Doctorate, she holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s in business administration.
