Jessica A. Irizarry
Director of Chapter Strategy & Program Development

Jessica Irizarry has spent the last decade of her professional life helping associations build and strengthen professional communities through their chapter networks. She believes professional communities are the epicenter of a successful organization and one of the best ways to develop a network is through chapters. As Chapters Associate, Jessica focuses on leadership governance and strategy for ASID’s chapter network, and establishes, facilitates and monitors baseline operations to lead chapters to success.

Jessica brings a uniquely faceted set of skills and experiences to her role at ASID including volunteer management, relationship and capacity building, and assisting in the production of political advertising from her tenure as Campaign Director for a U.S. Congressman; as well as exposure to interior design during her three years as a sales associate in a kitchen and bath showroom. She also worked in the video production unit of a medical association where she ultimately found her niche in chapters.

A graduate of the University of South Alabama in Communication Arts and Political Sciences, Jessica was the treasurer and president of the Public Relations Student Society, a student chapter of the national organization, PRSA, and Public Relations Chair of the university’s student alumni group.
