About

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in interior design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. I started my career as a designer of custom furniture, and one thing led to another. I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to design interiors in New York City, Miami and Los Angeles.

Seiko Hatta Interior Design is a full-service interior design company that prides itself on taking the time to listen to clients and provides friendly, personal service. Working and living in New York City, I understand the design challenges presented by the limited spaces of apartments, offices and retail stores. I enjoy helping people make the most of their space by creating design solutions that are beautiful as well as practical. My design philosophy does not push any one style, but is based on solving a client's particular problem. I can help you with a wide range of projects: from simple interior decorating and space management of a single room in a residential apartment, to the interior design of large commercial buildings. From small jobs to big ones, I can create interior design ideas, purchase materials and supervise contractors. I will work within your budget and make sure jobs are completed on time.

My consultation fee is $75, which would be applied towards your project when it begins. My fee will be fixed or hourly, depending on the project. I will work with you to create a fee that's appropriate.
