Interior designer and owner of the firm, Sandra J. Curtis, is a professional member of ASID, is NCIDQ certified, with nearly two decades of experience in interior design. Sandy is a native New Englander and presently resides in New Hampshire. She is also a member of NAHB and NKBA. With her BA in Art, Sandy began her design career in 1988 with the firm, Design East Interiors, whose forte is creating award-winning models for residential developers. Then, while living briefly in Southern California, she designed office spaces. Sandy joined Decorative Interiors in 1997 focusing more on residential design. In January 2006, Sandy founded her own company, Sandra Curtis Design, LLC.

Fee Structures

We have an hourly fee for services when hired as a design consultant (selecting paint finishes, designing built-ins, helping with specifications, etc.). When we are used as a resource for product, then we do not charge our hourly fee for the items that are being purchased but rather charge a competitive retail price. Often a project includes both design fees and product purchase but not for the same items, e.g., we would charge you an hourly fee to develop a palette of paint selections but would charge you a fair retail price for the window treatment.
