How is Celebration different this year?
This year’s Celebration marks an exciting and distinct milestone for ASID. Not only is it the first time we will be hosting Celebration on the west coast, but as a black-tie, red carpet gala, it marks an elevation of the Society’s annual event honoring the year's greatest contributions to design. It will offer an exclusive opportunity to celebrate the best in design with leading industry influencers.
When is Celebration?
Celebration will take place on Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. The event begins at 7pm and will go until midnight.
How can I purchase a ticket?
Individual tickets are $200. Table purchases are $2,000 for ASID members and $2,500 for non-members. Ticket costs will increase on June 14, so don’t delay! Tickets can be purchased online in three easy steps through the ASID portal at Dwell on Design:
- Step 1 - Enter your contact information
- Step 2 - Select your area of interest/expertise
- Step 3 - Choose "ASID: Celebration" as your registration package
What all is included in the $200 cost of my ticket?
Tickets to the event include a three-course, seated dinner, an open bar and an after party of drinks, dancing and live entertainment.
How can I ensure I sit with my colleagues and friends?
If you would like to sit with friends and colleagues, we encourage you to coordinate as a group and purchase a 10-seat table (a cost of $2,000), which will ensure that your group is seated together — with the added bonus of a prime location.
What type of dress is appropriate?
Celebration is a formal event with a 1920s Jazz Era theme. Cocktail attire is recommended; 1920s period-attire optional, but encouraged.
Will parking be provided?
Yes, parking is available to guests at an additional charge.
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Tickets can be purchased at the door (upon availability) for an additional cost. We encourage you to buy a ticket prior to June 1 to secure your spot and the $200 price. Tickets at the door will cost $225.
