Curated. improved the flexibility and spatial quality of this 2,000 s.f. Tribeca residence for a couple with two young children. Predominantly warm light-responsive paint colors strategically highlight the transition between public and private spaces. A new steel and glass door creates a proper vestibule, while reconfigured hallways and closets provide stroller storage. A new millwork partition and large scale pocket door defines a study and additional open living space while retaining the ability to revert to a more private configuration. Carefully selected custom and vintage furnishings add sophistication while being appropriate for children and pets.
