The formal living room is open to the dinning room; it also has predominantly neutral tones, but is enhanced by the greens in the rug as well as the accent pillows. The natural canvas is carried on in the window treatments that have an extra pizzazz with bell tassel trim, and two lush fabrics. The pictures over the sofa complete the space and tie all of the elements together. / Formal Living Room
Bright playful accent colors play off the white sofa, that helps to transfer from the neutrals in the dinning room and formal living. / Living Room
The sun room is off the living room, so the bright colors were played up a little more and enhanced on in the chairs, as well as the window treatments. The feel is very inviting and more casual then the other rooms. / Sun Room

The remodel of this particular kitchen located in Newport Beach began with "Water" as its theme. The built-in 150 gallon aquarium is displayed in both the kitchen and the living room, where it is actually framed as art. The granite floor tile was selected because it has the effect of a black sand "beach." There is a custom, hand laid mosiac above the stove in a wave pattern (which cannot be seen in this picture). The walls are painted with a metallic green paint to mimic the infused glass tiles on the backsplash. Finally, the glass "sculpture" on display was originally conceived as a lighted piece, but adds just the right touch of whimsy to the room with just the use of natural light. / Contemporary Kitchen Remodel with "Water" as its theme

"Glamour and Romance: A Nod to a Bygone Era." In keeping with the traditional elements yet modern appeal of the Ramblewood Townhomes, the designer approached the jewel box-like space with important design details: texture, shine and appropriateness. Carefully chosen objets d'art and luxurious materials evoke a timelessness and glamour of a bygone era; in this small, eclectic space, guests feel as if they are in the lap of luxury, hidden away. Here, in the powder room, the owners and their guests experience a sense of calm and order for a moment. The fixtures are traditionally elegant, while the mirror provides a dynamic impact to the small space. A soothing color palette of soft gray-blues and greens draws attention to the dressy little sconce adn the dazzling accessories. / 2008 ASID Designer Showhouse, Raleigh, NC

The Bride's Room was originally built for Mr. Williams' daughter when she became engaged to be married in 1886. The amazing vaulted ceiling is made of cherry wood, and Indian Mahogany cabinets with French beveled mirrors display the wedding gifts from friends and family. A turn of the century French Severs clock with hand-painted enamel makes a statement in this grand room.
