This client wished to create a warm, comfortable space with the focal point being the fireplace and sentimental painting above. The symmetry lends to the formal atmosphere, but the over-sized sofas invite guests to sit and relax. / Coto Living Room
This client is a young executive and wanted her space to have a soft contemporary feel. She wanted a mixture of textures and materials to add warmth and sophistication. / Irvine Townhome
This area gave her a place to display some treasured art and keepsakes while adding more guest seating. The warm wooden shelves contrast with the granite cocktail table across the room to add interest and to compliment the warm accent tones throughout. / Irvine Townhome

This project was based on the client's request for pink, chocolate and exotic animal prints. The inspiration was Hollywood Regency. Drama everywhere you turn! The home was used for the 1st ASID Las Vegas Showcase House in conjunction with The Parade of Homes. It has been featured in several newspaper articles, local and national magazines and just recently filmed for an hour long special on a national television channel. / Girl's Suite
This dresser is a one of a kind piece of artwork created by Leslie Rowland. It features Mae West pictures along with famous quotes. I used this piece in conjunction with other pieces by Leslie Rowland, to create drama and uniqueness. / Wild Wild West II dresser by Leslie Rowland
A fauxed ceiling to mimick an antiqued mirror creates a dramatic background for the chandelier. The medallion was fauxed in a raisin chocolate with silver highlights. / Girl's Suite
Through the door awaited this opulent girl's bathroom. Opal and fushia mosaic tiles ran up the walls with marble tiles on the floors. A free standing tub has Red Rock Preserve as a backdrop. Privacy was not an issue in this space. I used chrome accents to highlight the chrome fixtures along with an exotic zebra pelt to add a little fun to the space. / Girl's Suite

Being the Chair of the upcoming Designer Runway 2011, with Beverly Stadler, is a thrill! The Designer Runway event puts teams of 4 ASID designers or industry partners together to form a team to create an attire in 90 minutes to present to an enthusiastic crowd for voting. It’s kind of like Project Runway, but the designers are not allowed to use sewing machines. Hope you can join! / ASID Orange County Designer Runway 2011

This is an example of a sustainable and green design. We designed this room for under $500.00. / Before
Our client wanted a warmer feeling to the space and their color preference was blue and earth tones. They wanted elegant and traditional bedding. The client could not afford new draperies and they had another small window covered by the dresser. The draperies they had were over-sized for the window, so we had them dry cleaned without toxins and took two panels off for the additional window. We lowered the draperies and added a valance. The paint we selected was low VOC and our client did the painting. Our client also wanted to incorporate Feng Shui, so we edited wall pictures and added five Feng Shui cures.

This is a great example of sustainable and green design. These clients are newly-weds which had a $3000.00 budget.
/ BEFORE
Our clients wanted a tranquil atmosphere in their master bedroom. He liked blue and she liked green, so we came up with
this soft teal color scheme. Their mattress was 12 years old and because of allergies they decided to purchase a CHEMICAL FREE mattress, which would propel dust mites. We explained how to make a headboard and selected the material for it. Next we had them paint all their bedroom furniture the same color as the brown wall and matched all the hardware. We changed the furniture placement, creating a dressing area and sleep area.
