Master Bedroom
This full revovation required an open space plan for the living, cooking and dining zones. Careful ceiling changes and cabintry placement help define the zones while enhancing the natural flow of light. / Palo Alto Residence - Kitchen / Dining
Modern warmth envelopes this space from the radiant heat in the stained concrete floors, to the hand-cut mosaic tiles on the fireplace and the lush brown velvet on the sofa. / Palo Alto Residence - Living Space
Within a tight space, a true master bath was created through a generous coutertop with double sinks, a roomy shower and a private toilet room. Timeless materials, a mix of limestone, glass and elm wood, with effective and unique lighting, makes this bath a highly functional and pleasant space. / Palo Alto Residence - Master Bath
A new kitchen gives this family of four a comfortable place to cook and hang out with a direct connection to their new garden (to the right in photo). Hand-made tiles and classic stone counters gives the kitchen a timeless, modern warmth. / Sam Mateo Residence - Kitchen
The fireplace was rejuvenated with a new limestone facade and custom steel mantle shelf to display art and photos. New lighting, a dramatic color on the walls, and a unique combination for the table and chairs - provides an eclectic and surprising combination that's classic at the same time. / San Mateo Residence - Dining

"To maximize the view of the home's outdoor pier, Ferraro used minimalist drapery to lightly frame the space's architectural design, held by neutral poles to blend in the the coffered ceiling. The light granite countertops and custom fireplace add to the kitchen's Tuscan theme."
This room received 2004 Dream House Award. When interviewed, Ferraro explained "We took a minimalist neutral approach to the room, in order to highlight its architectural design." / 2004 Dream House Award
