The great room is the featured and most celebrated space of the house. This enormous room is clad with oak planked floors and walls including beamed cathedral ceiling with skylights. The original terrazzo marble fireplaces were replaced with a more rustic floor to ceiling stone fireplace complete with raised hearth and chunky mantle. A large plasma TV was mounted above the mantle for easy viewing from any angle. Custom made storage cabinets with hammered metal doors now flank the fireplace providing ample space for music and videos. Comfortable leather seating, with billiard tables, makes this location a place family and guests might never want to leave.
"Working with Sorensen Design Group has been a delight. Anna has helped use successfully renovate three homes as well as redesign our corporate office downtown. Her design excellence and superior communication skills have made the whole process most enjoyable."

A major remodel was in order for the first floor restrooms this rapidly growing Church. The senior pastor wanted members and guests to feel more comfortable in their surroundings. Smart design with a warm color communicated concern and well being.
"One of the initial areas the senior pastor and board wanted to upgrade was the restrooms on the first floor. Before the remodeling, the facilities were so outdated, that I often referred to them as the black hole of Calcutta. Anna created an amazing space that is both functional and striking! It’s almost like stepping into another dimension. This was one of the first major remodeling projects we tackled with Anna’s help. Since then we have worked with her to make numerous improvements throughout the entire facility."

Jackson, MS - Served as Contract Interior Designer. All design work by Wenbren J. Coleman. An example of a totally custom designed interior. The existing Optical was moved to a prominent space in the building in order to receive more public exposure. The client wanted a well designed, efficient space for their Optical that would draw in clientele to browse with the new highly designed space and new image. All aspects of the Optical are custom designed, from the drawers and tray cubbies in the Lab to all the rounded millwork, eye glass displays, mirrors, and the lighting for the space. Eye glass displays and glass shelves in front of windows are mounted on tension cables and mirrors are mounted with escutcheons and held off the wall 3” – all in order to appear to “float”. All finishes, furniture and fixtures are new.
