About
Judith Angel has worked in the interior design industry for over twenty years. She is a graduate of University of Georgia with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design. While living in Paris the year after graduation, she took classes at the American Center for Students and Artists. A native of Asheville, N.C., Judith moved to New York City in 1982. Having also been trained in photography at the New School University and Maine Photographic Workshop, she was studio manager for a well known commercial photographer, and subsequently taught at the New School University. She now utilizes her photography skills in interior design projects, as well as independent art projects shown in galleries. Before starting her interior design business in 2002, Judith worked for interior design and architectural firms in North Carolina and New York City.
Services Offered
Judith Angel will look at your home through the eyes of an artist. An accomplished designer and photographer, she has a unique insight into creating pleasing, functional environments, which reflect the sensibilities and lifestyle of her clients. It is a creative approach to comfort. Whether renovating or decorating, working with new pieces or existing ones, Judith uses her unique way of combining style elements, along with her close attention to detail, creating a home where her clients feel at home. She has worked with a wide range of clients and styles, and her capabilities range from classic modern to traditional, often a combination of both. All tasks relative to a project are handled by Judith, including: ● Design of space, floor plans and elevations ● Recommending contractors and craftsmen ● Overseeing construction and installations ● Selecting fixtures, furnishings, colors, and finishes ● Research, shopping and purchasing Judith also offers professional photography in all phases of the project, one-day makeovers(depending on size of space), and staging consultations in preparation for selling. And...should you want to do more with less, Judith also specializes in redesign, recycling, and repurposing. Decorating and design in a recession can truly mean it is a matter of dollars and sense. Finding creative ways to revitalize a space by giving old things a new life is a very cost-effective way to improve your quality of life. Judith works well with clients of different income levels, believing that everyone is entitled to a comfortable home, regardless of budget.
