Janet Davidsen, principal, is an ASID award winning interior designer, President-Elect of the ASID IL Chapter 2012-2013, and has 20 years of interior design expertise. She creates clients for life with her talent and by offering clients a great design experience through listening to what clients really want, following up and being accessible, detailed, and accountable.

Complete interior design for the home from the initial planning/drawing stages through furniture purchases and accessorizing, whole or partial-home projects, updating homes for future sale, remodeling/decorating of residential spaces, responsible, eco-friendly design solutions appropriate for each client's budget, solutions for chemical sensitivities to help homeowners breathe better, color consultations with an individualized color palette, space planning to ensure that furnishings fit each unique space, architectural detailing for modern, classic sophiscation, and complete window treatment design including coverings, fabrics, and hardware.

Awards

Janet Davidsen has received an ASID Design Excellence Award in the Singular Residential Space category 2005 and is a "Colorful Exceptions" IL Award Winner for the design of the Lizzie Chest through Grange Furniture 2011-2012.

Fee Structures

Details in Design, Inc. charges a design fee for the intial planning/creative phase of work and hourly fees thereafter. Color consultations are provided on an hourly fee basis. Furnishings can be purchased through DID, Inc. for designer cost plus a purchasing fee.
