The oldest area of the city, the French Quarter is more properly known as the Vieux Carre. Founded by the French in 1718, it also reflects the art and architecture of the Spanish era. Professional photographer and local preservationist Louis Sahuc will share his personal experiences along with the basics of capturing the perfect photograph. You will then be guided through the French Quarter to several architectural and historical venues for photo opportunities with your own digital camera. Sahuc will review photographs and provide valuable feedback to the experience and novice photographer.
