Jubilation: The ASID Foundation Fundraiser – Friday, March 14
Inspiration reigns at Jubilation—so get your bidding arm ready for the irresistible auction items, and your senses prepared for the feasts headed your way! Proceeds from this event are dedicated to funding innovative research, education initiatives and scholarships for the ASID Foundation. Celebration: The ASID Design Awards – Saturday, March 15
Do not miss the most prestigious ASID awards ceremony of the year! Awards presented will include the Society’s highest honors—the ASID Designer of Distinction, ASID Design for Humanity, ASID Fellowships, ASID Industry Partner Merit Award, ASID Student Design awards and more! New Orleans Community Service Project – Sunday, March 16
ASID members are conducting a youth-focused service project while in New Orleans for INTERIORS 08, so make plans now to stay through the afternoon and help the city of New Orleans in its recovery and restoration. Get engaged and experience the power design has to inspire, transform and protect.
 
Tours
Local tours ensure that you get the unique cultural experience that only New Orleans can deliver. A sampling of the offerings include an inspirational city tour, a creative tour of Mardi Gras World, a delectable experience at the New Orleans School of Cooking, and the antebellum setting of the Oak Alley Plantation.
