Donna has practiced interior design for over 25 year. She has practiced as a Licensed Professional in the employ of several prominent design firms, as well as at the helm of her own companies. She has taught interior design at Lynn University and has written a column about interior design for the Broward and Palm Beach Reviews. Donna has a Bachelor of Design degree in Interior Design from the University of Florida, College of Architecture and a Master of Science in Architectural Studies degree from the University of Florida, Graduate School. As an undergraduate she was a member of the Gargoyles Honor Society, the American Society of Interior Designers (student chapter), and the American Institute of Architecture Students. She also served on the Architecture College Council. As a Graduate Student Donna was an officer in the American Institute of Architecture Students and maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout her graduate studies. She was awarded the MSAS Excellence Award for outstanding academic achievement and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. During her Graduate studies Donna had the opportunity to study Renaissance Architecture under the tutelage of Professor Michael Rabens, Post Modern Architecture under Professor HW Kemp, and Tropical Architecture under AIA Fellow, Professor Carl Thorne. She also had the great privilege to also study under the late architectural historian and critic, Mr. Colin Rowe. Donna was awarded the Villagers Scholarship for preservation studies and attended the Preservation Institute: Nantucket under a full tuition scholarship. In addition to her formal education Donna had the opportunity to study in France, under the tutelage of Professor Manual Ponce of Florida State University. She studied “Historical French Architecture and Design” in Paris and at Versailles.
