Daylight is the most energy-efficient lighting! In some cases, a space has too little daylight. Interior designers can cure too little daylight with reflective interior surfaces, fenestrations, architectural reflective surfaces, landscape and lighting techniques. In other cases, a space has too much sunlight. Interior designers can cure too much sunlight with furniture colors and arrangements, window placement and coverings, interior finishes, and blocking devices—architectural and landscape. This interactive workshop explores the causes and cures for utilizing daylight, letting the genie out the bottle for everyone’s benefit—personal, national, and global by saving energy.
