Designer of Distinction Award

CONCEPT

The Designer of Distinction Award recognizes an ASID professional member who exemplifies a commitment to the profession as demonstrated by a significant, high -quality body of work representing excellence in interior design. In addition, the nominee should show attention to social concerns within the interior design profession and express creative, innovative concepts that have advanced the profession.

ELIGIBILITY

Nominees must be ASID professional members in good standing who have practiced interior design for at least 10 years. National officers, board members, jurors and awards committee members are ineligible during their terms of office.

JUDGING

Each year the Society president will appoint an awards committee made up of ASID professional members, fellows and members of the design community, who shall review nominees and select an honoree. The honoree will receive an engraved crystal award at an awards celebration to take place during the Society's annual conference.
