Chair's Message - December 2016

Say Hello. It's the New Face of the U.S. Capitol Building

An up-close look at the exterior restoration with the project's manager

Join me for an exclusive look at the renovations to the Senate Wing of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. Workers have spent three years repairing thousands of cracks, refurbishing light fixtures, replacing damaged ornaments, and cleaning stone. Last month, the scaffolding was removed and Chris Lear, Project Manager, Architect of the Capitol, gave me an in-person break down of the work.
