At Cathleen Rae Interior design we seek to create a space that will be described as having “an incredible sense of place.” The meaning of this phrase may be somewhat intangible. It underlies so much of what makes four walls and a collection of furniture and accessories a sanctuary for the homeowner, or a successful commercial space that makes the clientele want to return and spend more time. Each project is a new beginning, and every space is designed to reflect the unique personality, passions, living patterns, budget, and desires of the owner. Ideas can flow more smoothly in an environment where there is strong collaboration with the client. It is important to provide clear communication and listening skills in order to co-create a space that is functional, beautiful, timely, and on budget.
